In August 1997 when club culture was making just first steps into Russia , “Pitch” Record Store welcomed electronic music enthusiasts for the first time. Within almost ten years “Pitch” transformed from a small room in an underground basement into the most influential vinyl hotspot in Moscow and has become one of the largest and most respected sale outlets of audio products, as well as a guide to the world of electronic music. Many Russian artists started their career with ‘tunes' purchased from « Pitch » Record Store.

The website www.pitch.ru with whirlpools of words in forums was reflecting the uniqueness and the legend “Pitch” carried as well as keeping the audience informed about new releases, club life events and DJs' charts.

But development is natural and expansion of borders is infinite. Moreover there is an ocean of potential in this northern country, not only for understanding, but also for creation.

Although we officially announce about closing of “Pitch” Record Store we assure you that we will keep up with the music, just on the next phase. Being music lovers and recognizing the evolution of technology we are setting up new horizons.
